Fontainebleau Miami Beach

4441 Collins Ave · Miami Beach, FL

Why you should go…

The Fontainebleau opened in 1954 on Collins Avenue, designed by Morris Lapidus in the Miami Modern style, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The 20-acre oceanfront resort has 1,504 guestrooms and suites, a poolscape, the 40,000-square-foot Lapis spa and the LIV nightclub. Look for the lobby's floating "Staircase to Nowhere", kept from the original design. The pool appears in the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger.

Good to know

General stay guidance

Habits that pay off across this whole category, not rules for this one venue. Always check the official site for the specifics.

  • Rates swing with the calendar

Midweek nights and shoulder-season dates are usually the kindest on price.

  • Read what is included

Parking, resort fees, and breakfast are the three extras that most often land on the final bill.

  • Ask at booking, not at the desk

Early check-in, late checkout, and room preferences go further when you request them in advance.

  • On a short trip, location wins

What you can reach on foot from the door matters more than the amenities list.
