Lincoln Rd between Washington Ave & Alton Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139 · Miami Beach, FL
Redesigned as a car-free promenade in 1960 by Miami Modern architect Morris Lapidus, this eight-block stretch runs between 16th and 17th Streets from the ocean toward Biscayne Bay. More than 200 shops, restaurants, cafés, and galleries line the palm-shaded walkway, international brands like Zara, Nike, and Anthropologie mixed with sidewalk cafés and street performers. Evenings are the show: locals, visitors, and the occasional roller-skater parade past fountains and Lapidus's signature follies. Free to stroll, open late, and steps from the Art Deco District.
General shopping guidance
Habits that pay off across this whole category, not rules for this one venue. Always check the official site for the specifics.
Vendor hours are their own thing
Market stalls and independent sellers keep shorter hours than the building around them, and quiet days end early.
Bring a tote and a little cash
Smaller sellers do not all take cards, and bags are rarely free.
Weekdays browse, weekends buzz
Pick the weekday for a proper look at the shelves and the weekend for the atmosphere.
Ask about shipping
If something will not survive the suitcase, plenty of sellers will send it home for you.
