92 Hawthorne St., Lenox, MA 01240 · Lenox, MA
This historic house museum preserves the home and studio of two American Abstract Artists, painter George L.K. Morris and Suzy Frelinghuysen. The property spans a large estate in Lenox, where visitors can view the couple's paintings, frescoes, and sculpture alongside a collection of American and European Cubist works. The studio dates to 1930 and was designed in the Bauhaus style, while the house was added in 1941. Both buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. The site is currently closed for the season and reopens in spring 2027.
