8670 W State Road 56 · French Lick, IN
French Lick Springs Hotel began as an inn built in 1845 beside mineral springs whose water was later bottled and sold as Pluto Water. Thomas Taggart expanded it after 1901, and its Donald Ross Hill Course hosted the 1924 PGA Championship. Today it is part of French Lick Resort with a casino, spas, golf and dining. You can take a historic tour about the mineral water and gambling past, or bowl at Pluto's Alley.
