Givhans Ferry State Park offers a wooded retreat on the Edisto River in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Visitors can stay in cabins built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, camp in shaded sites, hike the River Bluff Nature Trail, or rent picnic shelters. The park is a starting or ending point for a long paddling trail down the river, and it hosts a tubing outpost operated by a private company from May through September.
