Sherwood, WI
High Cliff State Park is a state-run recreation area on the eastern side of Lake Winnebago, the largest lake in Wisconsin. Its name comes from the limestone cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment, which run along the lake's shore. A 12-foot statue of Winnebago Tribe Chief Red Bird stands on a granite rock above the water and draws visitors. The park offers camping, a marina, and picnic areas with shelters. A vehicle admission sticker is needed to enter.
