Indian Canyons

38520 S Palm Canyon Dr · Palm Springs, CA

Why you should go…

Indian Canyons is a network of palm-lined desert canyons, including Palm, Andreas and Murray Canyons, owned and managed by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians southwest of Palm Springs. The Cahuilla have occupied the canyons for thousands of years, and remnants of traditional life such as rock art, irrigation ditches and house pits remain along the trails. A Trading Post at the entrance sells maps, refreshments and Native American art, and the site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
