Exit Glacier Nature Center, end of Herman Leirer Rd · Seward, AK
The Harding Icefield feeds at least 38 glaciers here, and about half the park lies under ice. Exit Glacier is the only part you can reach by road, 8.4 miles up Herman Leirer Road from the Seward Highway. From the nature center, an accessible one-mile loop leads to glacier views, and the Harding Icefield Trail climbs 8 miles round trip. The rest of the park is seen by water, on boat tours past tidewater glaciers, sea otters, puffins and whales.
