About Longue Vue House and Gardens

Longue Vue began as a family home in 1921 and was donated to the community in 1980. Trailblazing designer Ellen Shipman created its mature gardens, and the Stern family helped shape the estate. Visitors can wander the eight-acre grounds on their own, or join a guided house tour. The site also hosts exhibits, workshops, classes, and family events throughout the year.
