New Orleans City Park spans about 1,300 acres, larger than New York's Central Park, and holds some of the oldest live oak groves in the country alongside lagoons, a botanical garden, and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. The park is also home to the New Orleans Museum of Art and Storyland, a small amusement park for kids. Most of the grounds are free to walk, bike, or picnic in.
