Mary Beth Doyle Park is a large city park on the south side of Ann Arbor, bounded by Packard Street, Stone School Road, and Platt Road. Its amenities include a playground, a basketball court, an 18-hole disc golf course that winds around a pond, and picnic tables. Much of the park is a wooded natural area with footpaths and wooden boardwalks, where native wildflowers such as trillium and trout lilies bloom mainly in spring. A paved loop circles the pond and wetland, and the park links to neighboring areas, including a pedestrian bridge over I-94. The park was formerly called Brown Park and was renamed in 2006 to honor environmental advocate Mary Beth Doyle. Smoking, alcohol, and unleashed dogs are not allowed.
