About Burns Park

Burns Park is a neighborhood park of about 15 acres just south of central Ann Arbor. Its perimeter is lined with shade trees that trace an old horse track. Visitors can use baseball and softball fields, a basketball court, tennis and pickleball courts, soccer or football fields, a playground, a petanque court, an enclosed shelter, picnic tables, and restrooms. Two rain gardens help manage stormwater. The Ann Arbor Senior Center sits inside the park, and the city lists a winter sand and salt pickup spot for residents. Dogs must be leashed, and smoking and alcohol are not allowed.
