The Gate is an 82-foot classical triumphal arch on 17th Street in Atlanta's Atlantic Station, opened on July 4, 2008. Inside, a museum of Georgia history and art fills galleries for the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries along with furnished period rooms. Outside, sculptor Alexander Stoddart's Peace and Justice Gates flank the arch. General admission is $12, with $10 tickets for seniors, students and military, and walk-ins are welcome.
