Operated by the Sublette County Historical Society since 1990, the Museum of the Mountain Man preserves the history of the Rocky Mountain fur trade era. Collections include Jim Bridger's rifle, an extensive Winchester rifle collection and Native American artifacts, alongside rotating art exhibits. The museum is open daily May through October and by appointment the rest of the year.
