About Oakwood Center

Oakwood Center is an indoor shopping mall in Terrytown, Louisiana, across the Mississippi River from New Orleans. It was first called Oakwood Mall, and some locals still use that name. Its anchor stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, Old Navy, Shoe Dept. Encore, JCPenney, and Dillard's, and one former Sears anchor stands empty. The center also has a children's play area, a food court, and free parking, and it offers wheelchair and stroller rentals for visitors.
