Oregon Caves National Monument & Preserve, near Cave Junction, Oregon, protects a marble cave system explored on ranger-guided tours plus old-growth forest trails above ground. The 2026 cave tour season opened March 21, running Thursday through Monday in spring and daily starting in May. Friends of the Oregon Caves and Chateau is the park's nonprofit philanthropic partner, raising funds to preserve the caves and restore the historic Chateau lodge, which is currently closed.
