Why you should go…

Scissortail Park is a 70-acre public park in downtown Oklahoma City stretching from the city core to the Oklahoma River. The Upper Park opened in 2019 and the Lower Park opened in 2022, developed through the city's MAPS 3 program and supported by the nonprofit Scissortail Park Foundation. The park includes a 3.7-acre lake with pedal boats, ornamental gardens, a children's playground, sports courts, a dog park, a seasonal roller rink and a performance stage with a great lawn.
