About Small Child Fountain

The Small Child Fountain is a small basin fountain in Boston's Public Garden, also called the Baby Fountain. Mary E. Moore created its bronze figure of a nude boy, which rests on a granite base. It is one of four small basin fountains in the Garden, each sculpted by a woman and tied to childhood. It stands beside the George Washington statue, near the Boy and Bird fountain. The Garden itself is a free public park that is open every day of the year.
