Why you should go…
Opened in 1969 as the Bull & Finch Pub, the bar sits in the basement of the Hampshire House, a 1910 Beacon Hill mansion, across from the Boston Public Garden. It took the Cheers name in 2002 after a licensing deal with the show's producers and remains a working restaurant and pub today, popular with fans making the pilgrimage to the building seen in the show's opening.
