Opened in 1999 on the site of the old Sands Hotel, The Venetian rebuilds Venice on the Strip, with a 315-foot replica of St Mark's Campanile and a Rialto Bridge. Gondolas carry you along canals both outside and inside, by the Grand Canal Shoppes. Rooms are suites with sunken living rooms, and the resort also takes in The Palazzo tower, two theaters, a casino, Madame Tussauds and the Canyon Ranch spa.
