About Grand Canal Shoppes
The Grand Canal Shoppes sit inside the Venetian and Palazzo resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. The first section opened June 16, 1999 and The Shoppes at the Palazzo followed in January 2008, for more than 200 tenants and about 875,000 square feet. The interior recreates St. Mark's Square under a painted sky, and gondola rides travel an indoor canal while performers entertain around the mall.
