Westcott Beach State Park covers 318 acres at the eastern end of Lake Ontario, sheltered by Henderson Bay. It has a long sandy swimming beach, a small marina with boat launches, and 168 campsites, many on a bluff with lake views, plus cottages for rent. The water here is known for black bass fishing, and the wooded trails are used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Cars pay $8 from the first weekend in May to Columbus Day, and the boat launch stays open all year.
