About ZooAmerica

Milton Hershey started this zoo in 1910 with a few bears, birds and deer, and since the late 1970s it has shown only North American wildlife. Its 11 acres are split into regions such as the Southern Swamps, the Great Southwest and the Eastern Woodlands, with about 200 animals including black bears, bobcats, otters and alligators. A regular ticket is $16.50 for ages 9 to 61. Hersheypark guests get in free by crossing the bridge from the park during operating hours.
