Fun Facts

The Mall does not use a central heating system. Instead, the year-round 70 degree temperature is maintained by passive solar energy from 1.2 miles of skylights, heat generated from store fixtures and lighting and the body heat from more than 40 million visitors. 

On average, Mall of America welcomes 32 million visitors each year.
