About The Area
From its food to its attractions to its public transportation, Minneapolis-St. Paul is somewhere you'll want to spend more than a few days.
With plenty of lakes and nature weaving its way in and out of the city, tourists can enjoy paddling and boating if they’re visiting between the warmer months of May and October. Families will love Trollhaugen's Adventure Park, an aerial challenge course and guided line zip tour with activities for all ages. For those who would still like to enjoy nature but remain indoors, check out the talks and shows at SEA LIFE Aquarium at the Mall of America.
History buffs will love the Wabasha Street Caves, which were turned into a nightclub in 1933 called The Castle Royal and is home to many Prohibition-Era legends. Afterwards, dine out at one of Minneapolis’ restaurants, which encompass an assortment of cultural cuisine. Enjoy Vietnamese food at Lotus, Latin street food and 100 varieties of tequila at Barrio Tequila Bar, and some of the best prime beef at Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
