About McCall and Riggins
McCall and Riggins are connected by US Highway 95 through west central Idaho, about 47 miles apart, with McCall on the shore of Payette Lake and Riggins near the confluence of the Salmon and Little Salmon rivers, close to White Bird. McCall hosts a self-guided tour of local artisan studios and galleries. In Riggins and White Bird, outfitters run guided fishing, jet boat, and whitewater trips on the Salmon, Little Salmon, and Snake rivers, including excursions into Hells Canyon.
