Bahia Honda State Park covers most of a Lower Keys island at mile marker 37 of the Overseas Highway. Its beaches, Calusa, Loggerhead and Sandspur, draw swimmers and snorkelers, and the park concession rents kayaks and snorkel gear and runs snorkel trips to the reef. A trail leads up to a surviving section of the old Bahia Honda Bridge, part of Henry Flagler's railroad built from 1905 to 1912, with a view over the islands. Campsites and cabins let you stay overnight.
