About Bertha Brock Park

Bertha Brock Park, run by Ionia County Parks & Recreation, covers rolling wooded land crossed by a trout stream. Visitors can hike several miles of trails, use picnic areas and covered pavilions, and cross three stone bridges. The historic Palmer Lodge, a gazebo beside a small pond, tennis courts, a softball field, and a disc golf course are also on site. Rustic campsites are first come, first serve, with no reservations. In winter, a large sledding hill is open. The park is also a popular place to hold meetings, weddings, and other events.
