Biosphere 2 is an Earth-systems science research facility in Oracle, Arizona, owned and operated by the University of Arizona since 2011. Visitors take a self-paced tour using a smartphone app, exploring the enclosed rainforest, ocean and desert biomes over about 75 minutes. It is open daily from 9am to 4pm year-round except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
