About

About Tucson

Tucson sits in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona, and the city itself is home to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Reid Park Zoo, Tucson Botanical Gardens, and Kitt Peak National Observatory. Nearby Marana and Oracle add Ghost Ranch Exotics and the University of Arizona's Biosphere 2 research facility. Further southeast in Cochise County, Benson leads to Tombstone, where the OK Corral marks the site of the 1881 gunfight that made the town famous. The venues here range from museums, gardens, and an observatory to zoos and an Old West historic site.
