Along both banks of the Boise River, from Lucky Peak through downtown Boise · Boise, ID
The Boise River Greenbelt is a mostly paved pathway that follows both banks of the Boise River from Lucky Peak through Boise, Garden City and Eagle. You can walk, run or cycle it, and motorized vehicles are not allowed. The path gives pedestrian access to the city's riverside parks, a chain known as the Ribbon of Jewels, and passes wildlife habitat that draws birders. The idea dates to a 1962 city plan, and the first parcels were donated in 1967.
