Housed in the historic Interurban Depot at 124 W. Ellison St., the Burleson Museum and Visitors Center is owned by the city and operated by the Burleson Heritage Foundation. Exhibits cover Burleson and Johnson County history through donated artifacts, and two restored rail cars, the #330 Cargo Car and the #411 Parlor Car, sit alongside the depot. The center arranges tours for groups and school field trips and sells history-related merchandise, and is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm.
