About Fort Worth Botanic Garden

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden spreads across a 120-acre campus in Fort Worth's cultural district. Its collection is organized into about two dozen specialty gardens, including a tropical conservatory, a forest boardwalk, and a water-conservation garden, along with Japanese and rose gardens. The garden is the oldest major botanic garden in Texas and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. The Botanical Research Institute of Texas, its research arm, runs science programs, classes, and tours. Seasonal events include holiday light trails and a fall Japanese festival.
