Cadillac Summit Rd, off Park Loop Rd · Bar Harbor, ME
Cadillac Mountain rises about 1,530 feet in Acadia National Park, and the park calls it the highest point on the eastern seaboard of the United States. A winding, paved 3.5-mile summit road leaves the Park Loop Road. At the top you find the short paved Cadillac Summit Loop Trail, interpretive signs and a gift shop. From October 7 to March 6 it is the first place in the country to see the sunrise, and RVs and trailers are not allowed on the road.
