Chautauqua Park & the Flatirons

900 Baseline Rd · Boulder, CO

Why you should go…

Chautauqua Park has been the gateway to Boulder's tilted Flatiron rock slabs since 1898, when it opened as a summer cultural retreat. Trails from the meadow climb into the foothills for views back over Boulder and the plains, ranging from easy loops to steep scrambles. The original dining hall still serves meals with a porch view of the formations.
