About Cleveland Mall

The Mall is a chain of three public greens in downtown Cleveland laid out under the 1903 Group Plan by Daniel Burnham, John Carrere and Arnold Brunner. It remains one of the most complete City Beautiful plans in the country, framed by neoclassical buildings such as City Hall, the Cuyahoga County Courthouse, Public Auditorium and the main Cleveland Public Library. Mall A, the southern section, is Veterans Memorial Plaza, home to the Fountain of Eternal Life, a World War II memorial dedicated in 1964. Malls B and C are grassy lawns built over the Huntington Convention Center.
