This museum, also called the Warehouse Point Trolley Museum, is said to be the oldest incorporated museum in the United States focused on electric railroading. It was founded in 1940 and holds static and moving exhibits, along with self-guided tours covering Connecticut's trolley history. The museum runs seasonal events such as holiday trolley rides and a Winterfest gala, and it depends largely on volunteers to operate.
