Creole Nature Trail

Adventure Point visitor center, 2740 Ruth St · Sulphur, LA

Why you should go…

The Creole Nature Trail is a 180-mile network of scenic roads through southwest Louisiana's Calcasieu and Cameron parishes, mostly along LA 27 and LA 82, and holds All-American Road status. The route crosses marshland and prairie, passes four wildlife refuges, and reaches 26 miles of Gulf beaches such as Holly Beach. Start at the free Adventure Point center in Sulphur, then try Pintail Wildlife Drive for alligators, birding, crabbing and fishing.
