The Bainbridge Island Downtown Association (BIDA) is a nonprofit Main Street organization that has promoted the historic downtown Winslow district since 1992. It organizes community events such as the First Friday Art Walk and produces an annual guide map distributed on Washington State ferries, at Sea-Tac Airport, and around the island. Downtown Bainbridge Island is accredited as one of Washington's Main Street historic districts, with shops, galleries, and restaurants a short walk from the ferry terminal.
