Dryden Pottery has produced handmade ceramics since it was founded in Kansas and relocated to Hot Springs in 1956, and remains the only pottery of the postwar studio pottery movement still owned and operated by its original family. The studio uses locally mined quartz silica in its clay and glazes, and its work has been listed for years in Schroeder's Antique Guide. Visitors can watch free potter's wheel demonstrations on weekday mornings and all day Saturday, then browse a showroom of finished ceramics for purchase.
