Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve protects a working rural landscape on Whidbey Island, created in 1978 and run by a local trust board in partnership with the National Park Service. You can walk the Bluff Trail for views over the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Farm patterns here date to the 1850s land claims of settlers like Isaac Ebey. The reserve also takes in historic Coupeville, Fort Casey and Fort Ebey state parks.
