The Elverhoj Museum of History and Art occupies a hand-crafted home built in 1949 by artists Viggo and Martha Brandt-Erichsen in the style of an 18th-century Danish farmhouse. Established in 1988, it preserves the history and Danish-American culture of Solvang, California and hosts changing regional, national and international art exhibitions. Admission is free with a suggested five dollar donation.
