Fayette Station Road is a historic one-way road in New River Gorge National Park & Preserve that winds down to river level and back up the gorge side. Built about a century ago, it predates the modern New River Gorge Bridge completed in 1977, and it offers pullouts, wayside exhibits, and views of the river and bridges. Visitors can also reach several trails from the road, and an audio tour is available for download.
