Rail Explorers operates the Elk River Division rail bike tour along the former Buffalo Creek and Gauley Railroad near Clay, West Virginia. Riders pedal electric-assist rail bikes on a 12-mile round trip through forest along Buffalo Creek, passing the Devil's Sawmill Waterfall, a wrecked train car, and high rock cliffs. Tours run about two hours and include a stop at Sandfork Bridge. Tandem bikes seat two riders and quad bikes seat up to four.
