About General George Patton Museum of Leadership

The museum on Fort Knox tells the story of General George S. Patton Jr., from his childhood through his military career and his death. Its displays include many of his personal belongings, such as revolvers, Olympic sabers, and the car from his final ride. Other exhibits trace the origins of ROTC and show equipment, weapons, and trophies from different wars. The museum is aimed at junior Army leaders and at visitors of all ages, and it is run in part by the U.S. Army Cadet Command. Its sponsoring foundation is a separate nonprofit that relies on donations.
