Hale Farm and Village is a living history museum operated by the Western Reserve Historical Society inside Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Costumed interpreters show how people lived on the farm in the 1800s. Visitors can watch craft and trade demonstrations, meet farm animals such as oxen, sheep and chickens, and walk through historic buildings and gardens. The site also presents 1860s Civil War history in its village buildings. Programs and signature events run through the year, and the grounds are open seasonally with extra dates for special events.
