The Heber Valley Railroad, nicknamed the Heber Creeper, is a heritage railroad in Heber City, Utah that began as a commercial line in 1899 and has operated as a state owned excursion railroad since 1992. Trains travel roughly 16 miles between Heber City and Vivian Park in Provo Canyon, passing Mount Timpanogos, the Provo River and Deer Creek Reservoir. The railroad carries over 100,000 riders a year and offers themed rides and special event trains in addition to its standard scenic excursions.
