The Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona is a nonprofit, founded in Seligman in 1987 by Angel Delgadillo and 14 others, dedicated to preserving and promoting Arizona's 401-mile segment of the historic highway. The route earned Arizona Historic Road status, National Scenic Byway recognition and All-American Road designation through the Association's efforts. The Association is based in Kingman and hosts the annual multi-day Fun Run along the route for car enthusiasts and Route 66 fans.
