This 585-acre park sits on the east rim of the Pine Creek Gorge, often called the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, which is about 800 feet deep here. It has a visitor center and the canyon's most famous lookout, with Colton Point State Park on the opposite rim. The Pine Creek Rail Trail runs along the creek at the bottom. Follow paved Route 660 west from Wellsboro for 10 miles, since GPS may send you down dirt roads, and expect no cell service in the park.
