Ravensburg State Park is a 78-acre park in a narrow gorge cut by Rauchtown Run through Nippenose Mountain, almost surrounded by Tiadaghton State Forest. The Civilian Conservation Corps built its picnic pavilions, bridges, trails and a small dam on the stream in the 1930s, and that rustic stone and log work still stands. Raven Trail follows the creek, where anglers fish for native brook and brown trout, and side trails climb to rocky outcrops and the long-distance Mid State Trail. Pennsylvania state parks charge no entrance fee.
